cvechecker reports about possible vulnerabilities on your system by scanning the installed software and matching the results with the CVE database. This is not a bullet-proof method and you will most likely have many false positives, but it is still better than nothing, especially if you are running a distribution with little security coverage.
Release Notes: Reports CVSS scoring when a CVE is potentially applicable to the system. Also fixes some buffer handling code and adds in checks for missing runtime dependencies in the scripts.
Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.
Release Notes: The make process was improved to support the creation of binary Seed7 packages. Function descriptions in the manual were added or improved. The new library environment.s7i was added. A documentation comment for getSearchPath was added. The functions ltrim and rtrim were added to string.s7i and test cases were added to chkstr.sd7. The functions getProgramName and prc_cpy were improved. The program tar7.sd7 was improved to accept DOS paths for the file specified with -f. The function homeDir was improved to work with DJGPP. The handling of the descriptor union was improved in several files.
Fresh IDE is a visual assembly language IDE with a built-in Flat assembler (FASM) compiler. It is written in Fresh IDE and is a self-compilable application. It is fully compatible with FASM and can be compiled with every version of FASM, as well. The main goal of Fresh is to make programming in assembly as fast and efficient as in high-level languages, without sacrificing the small application size and raw power of assembly language. It is a Windows application, but it runs in Wine very well and can create, compile, debug, and run applications for Windows and Linux on both Windows and Linux host machines.
Release Notes: This version updates the FASM compiler to version 1.71.06.

The j661 project provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) in order to facilitate the understanding of the ARINC 661 standard, prototype ARINC 661 concepts and architectures, and facilitate the reuse of ARINC 661 specifications and artefacts between projects. The CDS architecture is designed to allow defining the Server behavior to be easily modified or extended. This is achieved by a modular plug-in architecture, allowing customization at runtime without changing anything in the Server core itself.
Release Notes: Adds a Look model plugin that will ultimately be able to convert between the Look specification format and the Synth2 Look and Feel format. Emits clear parsing exceptions for the Synth2 Look and Feel XML file parsing. Fixes a few bugs for several widgets. Adds cobertura in the project to allow it to get the coverage of unit tests. Protects the Server in the OpenGL embedded mode against possible badly defined properties performed by the C code before calling the Server. Fixes a case where changing the cockpit configuration layout at runtime could make further Layer modifications not visible.
MSCP (Media Server Control Panel) is a management interface for Icecast2 with comprehensive functionality. An administrator can create users and then edit access rights, set the number of listener slots, enable or disable AutoDJ, etc. Users may change several parameters of the Icecast2 server and the AutoDJ via a Web-based interface. Audio compression formats supported by the AutoDJ are MP3, Ogg Vorbis, and FLAC. MSCP does not require an SQL server and runs on an independent Web server. It also sets Icecast2 to Shoutcast-compatible mode.
Release Notes: This release fixes a scroll bug in Chrome, and fixes an Audio Processor display status bug. It adds 'Priority settings', 'CPU cores usage', a 'Restart radios after server reboot' option, a Web Services log, an FTP Services log, and a Main Page button to the Admin Page. It adds a chadminpasswd script to the Installer. Stereo Tool has been updated. There are some minor bugfixes in the Admin Page. There are Icecast2 and AutoDJ start-stop performance improvements.
RemoteBox is a graphical tool which lets you administer guests or virtual machines running under VirtualBox on a remote server or even your local machine if desired. You may, for example, have a root server on the Internet, a server at home, or a server at work running VirtualBox but want to have the convenience of managing the guests easily from your local machine. The virtual machines run in headless mode, which means you don't need an active graphical display on the server but you can still connect and view the displays of the guests. The goal of RemoteBox is to provide a GUI that should be familiar to VirtualBox users while allowing them to administer a remote installation of VirtualBox. It does this via the VirtualBox API and SOAP interface, which are exposed when running the VirtualBox Web service. You can also use RemoteBox simply as an alternative interface for managing VirtualBox on your local machine.
Release Notes: Most of a guest's settings can now be changed while the guest is running, reducing the inconvenience of needing to power off the guest. Screenshots can be taken of the guest and saved as PNG images. There are guest icons for Windows 2012 and Solaris 11 as well as status icons for each guest and storage icons on the edit window. Additional defaults are used when creating a new guest including 'recommendedChipset', 'recommendedAudioController', 'recommendedFloppy', and 'recommendedUSB'. There is an SSL certificate verification option. This release also has a number of minor bugfixes and GUI tweaks.
Rescatux is a GNU/Linux rescue CD that comes with Rescapp, a nice wizard that will guide you through your rescue tasks. It can restore Grub to the MBR update a Grub configuration, perform filesystem checks, fix a Windows MBR, and more. Features that can indirectly assist the rescue process include chat programs to let you reach human online help, a share log (automatic pastebin), and a share log that uses formatting appropriate for posting on a forum.
Release Notes: If you selected Rescatux autodetect at boot, it tried to load a 32-bit kernel when you had a 64-bit one and vice-versa. There was another bug that made the manual Rescatux 32-bit and Rescatux 64-bit options unusable; they just showed you kernel panic errors. These two major bugs have been fixed.
FF Multi Converter is a simple graphical application that converts audio, video, image, and document files between all popular formats, using and combining other programs. It uses ffmpeg for audio/video files, unoconv for document files, and the ImageMagick library for image file conversions.
Release Notes: This release fixes a compatibility bug with newer versions of ffmpeg, provides an accurate progress bar for all ffmpeg versions, and adds new translations.
MDIUtilities provides a set of utility classes that can be used for desktop application development. It contains a network preferences implementation, XML utility classes, geometry utility classes, additional Swing classes, and other miscellaneous classes.
Release Notes: This release adds an "exist" method for files in the FileUtilities class. It fixes the "getAbsoluteFile" method in the FileUtilities class returning false for files using the HTTP protocol. It adds some new methods that deal specifically with URLs. It allows you to add custom entity resolution to XML parsers (experimental). It ensures that exceptions returned by the SAX handler are sorted by their line number.
CmdOption is a simple annotation-driven command line parser toolkit for Java 5 applications. Everything you need is (at least one) simple configuration object. Each field and method annotated with an CmdOption annotation will be processed. Based on this config, CmdOption is able to parse any command line, guaranteeing the declared specification. The result is directly stored in the given config object. When errors occur, CmdOption gives a meaningful error message. Generated output and validation/error message can be localized.
Release Notes: This release adds localization support for output and configuration. It has enhanced configuration and validation capabilities so that options can require or conflict with other options when selected. It has an additional "AboutLine" to the usage formatter, adds a new URL parser, and makes some other internal improvements. The build system was migrated to SBuild, to build faster and also automatically merge translations and create releases.
astateful is a unique approach to Web development. It incorporates a solid theoretical foundation based on Dynamic Programming in which a Web site is programmed in such in a way that it can be "solved" using a 'top down' or 'bottom up' approach. It is very scalable. Caching and encryption are included by default. It has a steep learning curve.
Release Notes: A major release culiminating in a fully functional C++ version that uses BSON as the variable storage and scrypt as the encryption and decryption mechanism. Wholesale improvements to both algorithms, as well as a SAX parser in the PHP version to work with malformed XML documents. The C++ version creates a log in BSON format.
