KDE-Services extends the features of the Dolphin File Manager right-click menu in the KDE graphical environment. It allows you to play and convert between several video formats, extract audio from movies and convert them to MP3 or FLAC, convert audio to MP3 or FLAC, securely send a file or directory to Mailx as an email, send files to Thunderbird as attachments, burn and checksum ISO images, execute scripts and applications, get low-level information on video files, build ISO images from folders, replace text, search, SSH, use Midnight Commander, use system, network, and backup/restore tools, use Samba, extract subtitles from MKV video, multiplex subtitles into MPEG-2 videos, and work with YouTube, DVDs, multimedia, GPG. You can add a timestamp prefix to a filename or directory name. A paranoid shredder, an HTTP publisher, graphic tools, RPM package tools, Xorg configuration, and Dropbox tools are included.
Release Notes: "Rebuild RPM Package" will no longer install unnecessary *.noarch.rpm packages. GUI enhancements in "PDF Tools". "Image Resizer": the image file source is no longer overwritten after converting it. "The Sizer" to "Actions" submenu has been added to Dolphin's right click menu.
Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.
Release Notes: The Seed7 compiler was renamed to s7c. The program make7.sd7 was improved to allow macros in the command line. The libraries makedata.s7i and make.s7i were improved. A variant of the function popen was added to shell.s7i. The difference between & and <& was explained in the FAQ. The program tar7.sd7 was improved to accept DOS paths for all file arguments. Documentation comments were added to several files. The graphic drivers were improved to exit a program when the close button (X) is pressed. The makefiles were improved such that 'make s7c' generates an executable of the Seed7 compiler.

The OODBMS/DBMS ODABA is an terminology-oriented database management system (TODBMS) on a high conceptual level. This is an extension of the ODBMS concept according to ODMG 3. It provides a number of enhanced features based on natural language analysis. Beside the database kernel, a number of tools are provided for database design, documentation, and fast development. ODABA provides a powerful interface (C++, .NET) and an ODABA Script Interface (OSI), a C++/JAVA like scripting language, which provides easy access to the database.
Release Notes: Extension attributes have been introduced, which allow extending data types at run-time by transient attributes. In addition, ad-hoc ordering for persistent collections based on persistent, transient, and extension attributes is supported. Create new project support has been improved essentially by generating appropriate command files for running ODE tools and Sample procedures. Several improvements have been made for schema version support, including schema version reset. Several minor improvements have been made for OSI and ODE tools, and several bugs have been removed.
Gnome Partition Editor is a graphical frontend to libparted. It supports creating, resizing, moving, and copying of partitions.
Release Notes: This release includes important bugfixes and some language translation updates. Key changes include fixing Linux software RAID device detection and fixing logical partition growth overlapping the end of the extended partition.
MyJgui is a GUI (graphical user interface) for MySQL. It aims to be easy to use for new users as well as experts. You can store multiple connections that can be used simultaneously. Stored passwords are encrypted using symmetric encryption. Underlying databases and tables are displayed in a tree structure with the connections being the first level nodes. MyJgui is capable of easy data manipulation through a grid. It has a unique feature of bookmarking parametrical queries (sqlmarks). The documentation (user guide) is quite comprehensive and kept up-to-date.
Release Notes: Filtering connection nodes. The panel for search can be shown but also hidden. When entering text and pressing the search icon, filtering will proceed. After removing text from the search text field, the filtering will be removed. The nodes are no longer automatically refreshed after selection. Refresh will happen after double clicking on a node. Small management of running tasks, with the ability to cancel a running task.
check_openmanage is a plugin for Nagios that checks the hardware health of Dell servers running OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA). The plugin can be used remotely with SNMP or locally with NRPE, check_by_ssh, or similar. It checks the health of the storage subsystem, power supplies, memory modules, temperature probes, etc., and gives an alert if any of the components are faulty or operate outside normal parameters.
Release Notes: This release fixes a regression with uncertified physical disks and blacklisting, and adds an option that allows setting the SNMP object timeout.
Window Switch is a tool that allows you to move applications between networked computers. The windows appear where you need them, as they were. You no longer need to save and send documents to move them around; simply move the view of the application to the machine where you need it.
Release Notes: This minor update brings the MS Windows and OS X binaries up to date with the latest xpra 0.7.5, and also includes support for the new features coming in xpra 0.8.0 like full screen shadowing. It should also fix the problem some Debian/Ubuntu distributions were having with the infamous "no commands available" error message.
Phoebetria lets you take control of your BitFenix Recon fan controller on more operating systems than the official software. It offers all of the same features as the official software, with the exception of remote access, and has been tested on Windows, Linux, and OS X.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. Due to the nature of some of the bugs, it is highly recommended that all users upgrade to this version if they are using version 1.2.0. Stability and usability have been improved. The internal state of Phoebetria is now reset after the system goes through a sleep/wake cycle. Occasional 'freezing' of the UI has been addressed. Software auto has been improved. Phoebetria can once again work correctly with the OEM software still running.

libagf is a library of variable-bandwidth kernel estimators for statistical classification, PDF estimation, and interpolation/non-linear regression using both Gaussian kernels and k-nearest-neighbours. Statistical classification allows the use of a pre-trained model for considerable speed gains. Also included are clustering algorithms. It includes command line executables as well as easy-to-use libraries.
Release Notes: This release has a new command for generating the Relative Operation Characteristic (ROC) function. There is also a shell script for validating probability density function estimates. Many bugs have been found and corrected.
Blender is a free 3D animation studio. It includes tools for modeling, sculpting, texturing (painting, node-based shader materials, or UV mapped), UV mapping, rigging and constraints, weight painting, particle systems, simulation (fluids, physics, and soft body dynamics and an external crowd simulator), rendering, node-based compositing, and non linear video editing, as well as an integrated game engine for real-time interactive 3D, and game creation and playback with cross-platform compatibility.
Release Notes: Cycles ray-tracer now does motion-blur. Support has been added for Open Shading Language. A rewritten bevel tool with curved edge support; the decimate modifier now supports UVs and Vertex Colors. This release includes many small improvements and over 200 bugfixes.

The conditions to enable Gzip compression were tightened. Layer 7 information such as the IP address taken from a header can now be tracked. Users of 1.5-dev12..dev14 are encouraged to upgrade.

adsuck is a small DNS server that spoofs blacklisted addresses and forwards all other queries. The idea is to be able to prevent connections to undesirable sites such as ad servers, crawlers, etc. It can be used locally, for the road warrior, or on the network perimeter in order to protect local machines from malicious sites.
Release Notes: Automatically watches for changes to resolv.conf and rereads it when that happens. This removes the need for external stimuli to force the reread (SIGHUP). Refreshes all the hosts files. Starts using libevent2 in favor of libevent.

SysMT implements a Web based calendar system to manage and maintain entries. Originally, this application was developed as a sample cego database application and it was used as a maintenance system to manage administrative actions for SAP systems. plugdaemon is a load-balancing "plug" proxy. It allows you to forward TCP connections to one or multiple hosts, using load balancing or failover, and to route the connections through an HTTPS proxy. Access control is done by source interface or by originating IP. Outgoing connections can be bound to a specific IP address.
Release Notes: This release adds cleanup for warnings in more recent versions of gcc. This includes a possible format injection in syslog detected by -Wformat-security.
dhcpy6d delivers IPv6 addresses for DHCPv6 clients, which can be identified by DUID, hostname, or MAC address, as in the good old IPv4 days. Addresses may be generated randomly, by range, or by arbitrary ID or MAC address. Clients can get more than one address, leases and client configuration can be stored in databases, and DNS can be updated dynamically.
Release Notes: This release mainly improves stability.
libpetey is a small scientific/numerical computation library. It includes the following components: templated sorting routines; templated binary tree classes; a templated linked-list class; routines for finding the k-least and k-greatest elements in an array; "supernewton", a one-dimensional root-finding algorithm based on cubic interpolation; a class for working with dates and times; a function for easy parsing of command line options; datasets (the beginnings of a data-representation paradigm that generalizes matrices but is mainly useful for n-dimensional linear interpolation); and sparse matrix library including command-line utilities for sparse matrix multiplication and eigenvalue decomposition as well as a sparse matrix calculator.
Release Notes: The sparse matrix calculator is now up and running. It is, however, completely barebones, and has undergone almost no testing.
