Arkeia Free Version

Arkeia Free Version is a no-cost version of Arkeia Network Backup specifically for small networks. It allows an administrator to backup and restore files via a Web UI. This edition has the option to backup up to two machines to a 250 GB disk storage or tape drive. It allows you to backup Linux machines, Windows desktops, Mac desktops, FreeBSD servers, and more.

Release Notes: This release added a new on-boarding setup wizard and support for Debian 7 (Wheezy) x86 and x86-64, openSUSE 12.3 (Dartmouth) x86 and x86-64, Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) x86 and x86-64, and Fedora 19 (Schrödinger’s Cat) x86 and x86-64. There were numerous enhancements and updates on both the backup server and agent sides as well as the WebUI.

Release Notes: The new Web Dashboard presents key indicators of backup status in the Web user interface. The dashboard is configurable by an administrator to report important details at the level of granularity desired. A German localization has been introduced.
