It is based on a client/server architecture and is efficient and relatively easy to use, while offering many advanced storage management features that make it easy to find and recover lost or damaged files.

compile and configure bacula backup. I downloaded bacula-
2.4.3.tar.gz and using CentOS 5. Hope you help me with this

Great backup software
Bacula is for me the best backup software that I used. Full features:
- full, diff, inc backup
- linux, windows agent (client)
- mysql for database
Bacula do great job for our data :)

Good project.
Recommended.
The learning curve can be a little steep and, especally for larger networks, can require some planning but it's well worth the effort. If you try this project you should definitely RTFM and search the mail list archives be for starting a new email thread. Lots of good info there.
