BitlBee allows users to talk to people on the major instant messaging and microblogging networks (including MSN, Google Talk, AIM, and Twitter) from within any IRC client by emulating an IRC server. Virtual channels are created with all of the user's contacts in them, who can be talked to in the channel or in a query. Also, one can participate in group chats and chat rooms like they were normal IRC channels.

Re: Invisible Bee
Thanks for the patch, I wish I noticed it before. Didn't know the inivisibility was broken so far! I applied this patch to devel and 1.0.1 now.

Invisible Bee
Any idea how to mark myself invisible, using AWAY or UMOD, and how to make it selective (like "/away 2 Invisible", to mark me Invisible on third account) supposing that the server support this feature.
For now I make a little patch to make me invisible for Y!, with "/away Invisible". I didn't test it too much.

Re: Great idea, but still not there
Correction: Version 0.91 (which will be released really soon) and newer will support ICQ server-side buddy lists.
0.90 was supposed to support them as well, but the support wasn't ready for release yet at the time 0.90 came out so I pulled it.
