Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system has been upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Feb/26). The Linux kernel has been updated to 3.2.39-1. Multipath devices, e.g. /dev/cciss/c0d0, are now supported natively (no more linking them to /dev/sd[a-z]). Therefore, LVM on cciss devices are now supported. Xen disk (/dev/xvd[a-z]) has been added as a supported device. An issue with imaging JFS partitions larger than 50 GB has been fixed.

The file ocs-devsort from Miracle Linux has been added. Part of the modifications from Miracle Linux have been merged, including using the functions get_diskname, get_part_number, etc., and logging the screen output in /var/log/clonezilla.log. The Clonezilla image repository mounting status will now be saved to /var/log/ocs-mount.log. The network configuration settings done by ocs-live-netcfg will be saved to /var/log/ocs-netcfg.log.

The drbl package was updated to 2.1.34-drbl1, and clonezilla was updated to 3.1.22-drbl1. The new paths for the files in these two packages are in /usr/sbin, /usr/bin, /usr/share/drbl/sbin, and /usr/share/drbl/bin. The "ocs_lang" and "ocs_live_keymap" boot parameters were replaced by "locales" and "keyboard-layouts" from live-config. An option to use "autohostname" to create the image name was added. Some bugs were fixed.

Partclone-utils has been updated to 0.1.3. Gdisk has been updated to 0.8.2. The image of a partition saved by dd is no longer treated as a broken one in ocs-chkimg. The option -fsck-src-part-y has been added so that fsck can be run automatically when saving an image. The reserved name "all" of ocs-sr is used for finding all the devices in the system or in the image.

Partclone was updated to 0.2.45-2drbl. VMFS3 and VMFS5 support are separated. Since vmfs5 support is still buggy, it is disabled in drbl-ocs.conf. A better mechanism was implemented to keep the MS Windows boot reserved partition size when option "-k1" is chosen. An issue with PXE booting on a machine with multiple network cards has been fixed. A problem where the serial console did not have a TTY was fixed.

An option (-icds, --ignore-chk-dsk-size-pt) to skip checking skip checking destination disk size before creating the partition table on it was added. VMFS3 and VMFS5 support are separated. Since vmfs5 support is still buggy, it is disabled in drbl-ocs.conf.

Xz compression is now used instead of gzip when making the squashfs, reducing the Clonezilla live ISO and zip file by about 31 MB. A bug that caused disk-to-disk clone to fail was fixed.

Syslinux was updated to 4.04. Initrd was compressed with XZ. The pre-run and post-run commands were moved to the login shell instead of init so that they can be interactive. The grub2 boot loader for EFI was added. The "gPXE" in the boot menu is replaced by "iPXE". A workaround was included to avoid the sshfs "Read: connection reset by peer" or "remote host has disconnected" issues.
