Release Notes: This release adds the final feature for Elefant 2.0, role-based access control (RBAC), including an elegant GUI for managing roles and a simple API for app developers. It also includes numerous bugfixes and new settings to control sessions and file paths, which make it possible to use a single Elefant install in a multisite setup.
Release Notes: This is the first feature-complete beta of Elefant 2, featuring a new WYSIWYG editor with tight integration with the internal pages, files, and dynamic embedding. The file manager supports drag and drop uploads and moving files/folders, transparency-aware image resizing, and editing text files and images (via Aviary). There were many improvements to the translation manager and multilingual support, new Italian and German translations, and updated Russian and Chinese translations. Also included were a new default theme and streamlined admin UI, client-side helpers for app developers, and dozens of framework improvements.
Release Notes: This release includes new translations in Chinese, Czech, Russian, and Ukrainian, as well as better transliteration in URLs, localization of dates/times, language negotiation with Safari, API changes, and other internationalization improvements. It includes database and query builder improvements, better standards compliance, more template syntax flexibility, a new CRUD scaffold generator, refactored input validation, better REST error handling, HTML5 multiple file uploads, an improved CLI utility that can be extended with custom commands, and numerous other improvements and fixes.
Release Notes: This is the first beta of what will become Elefant 2, featuring support for Japanese, Dutch, French, and Chinese, an app to manage translations, a multi-file uploader, Disqus support for blog comments, rate-limited logins for more security, improved SEO, WYSIWYG editor improvements, customizable access control, new photo gallery options, and the ability to install apps/themes via a ZIP file or GitHub repository. Framework improvements include a new Mailer class, more complex queries and relationship modeling, fast batch insert/updates, localized dates, and caching to Memcache, Redis, APC, or files.
Release Notes: This release fixes a typo that crept into the MySQL schema file.
Release Notes: Improved translation/i18n features. Language choice now uses Accept-Language header by default. Passwords are now hashed with blowfish by default. There is improved error handling in blog importers. Themes are now self-contained in their own subfolders of the 'layouts' folder. There are several other minor fixes. This will likely be the last beta before a stable release candidate.

Database connections are now lazy-loaded, there are several new caching techniques, the admin UI is rebrandable, the default layout is now mobile-aware, software update notices appear in the admin UI along with improvements to page editing and navigation, MongoDB and PostgreSQL support is in place, and there's a new backup utility, environment switching for development, staging, and production, a new REST API, support for PHP 5.4's built-in Web server, a new logging engine, and many other minor improvements.

It also adds Assetic support via an optional add-on, which compresses and compiles JavaScript and CSS files, and also provides support for CoffeeScript, and SASS and LESS stylesheets.
