Release Notes: This release adds more filters in the file chooser, history which behaves more like a Web browser, caret mode support, a new find sidebar showing search results with contexts, and support for DJVU page labels, file identifiers, and text selection.

Release Notes: The UI was redesigned to follow the GNOME 3 style. Evince now uses libsecret instead of libgnome-keyring. The font properties dialog now shows a message to inform whether any of the non-embedded font is one of the 14 standard fonts. A new layout mode was added to libview that can automatically choose dual page mode if the window size allows. A new automatic zoom mode was added to libview. Pages' DPI is now used to compute the scaling factor in DJVU documents. The gear menu was improved. Scrolling and searching performance was improved. Many other enhancements and bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: The current folder is now stored and restored when opening or saving files. Backend management and the document factory have been reworked to make it easy to add a module cache. Error handling in EvDocumentFactory has been improved. Substitute font names and files are now included in the font list. Document metadata is now copied to the new file when saving a copy. More use is made of GtkApplication and GApplication. Several APIs have been added. yelp-tools are now used instead of gnome-doc-utils for the documentation infrastructure. Several bugs have been fixed. Translations have been updated.

Release Notes: New keyboard shortcuts have been introduced for navigating to the previous and next "find" matches. A "Send To" action has been added to the file menu and the toolbar. The "--named-dest" commandline option has been implemented, adding spawn and DBus support for named destinations. A setting to disable auto-reloading has been introduced. T1 font mapping files are now used in the DVI backend. Odd-numbered pages can now also be displayed on the left. Use of several deprecated GLib and GTK+ APIs has been removed. synctex has been updated to version 1.17 to fix problems with file paths. Bugs have been fixed, and documentation improved.

The File menu gained an "Open Containing Folder" entry. The GSettings schema path was changed. Support for internal bookmarks was added. Support for xz compressed documents was implemented. The user config directory was moved to an XDG compliant location. The user guide was replaced with a new topic-based help from the Mallard project. Several further enhancements and minor bug fixes were made.

A dynamic pixbuf cache size based on document page size was implemented, allowing for smarter document caching. A new sidebar page to show the list of annotations was added, and new annotations can now be added to a document. SyncTex support was added. Accessibility support was implemented. Saved documents are now remembered in the "recent files" list. Current settings can now be stored. GTK+ 3 is now optionally supported. Many other minor changes and bug fixes were made.

Release Notes: Each document is now opened in a separate thread. Printing support was improved. Page setup settings are now embedded in the print dialog, and a new tab was added to support various scaling options. An inverted colors view mode was added. Presentation mode was improved. Support was added for PDF File Attachment Annotations. Several bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: GtkPrintOperation is now used when printing in backends that support rendering into a Cairo context. PDF is sent to printers that support it. Sessions can now be recovered after a crash. Annotations support was added. DnD handling was improved. System MIME-types are now used. Many other improvements were made. Several bugs were fixed.
