Release Notes: This release fixes a bug with the ssh host key protocol ed25519 not being generated during boot. It is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/Apr/10), updates grub to 2.02~beta2-8, and adds the screen, rsync, ping, telnet, traceroute, and bc commands.

Release Notes: This release includes GParted 0.18.0, which fixes a resize/move problem introduced in 0.16.2 that might set a partition size smaller than ext2/3/4, NTFS, and Reiserfs filesystems can handle in certain situations. It is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/Feb/18). It prevents a crash when creating a new partition on disk with loop label, fixes an issue where the default partition table could not handle > 2 TiB disks, and adds BitLocker disk encryption detection.

Release Notes: This release marks the first time that GParted can resize some file systems (btrfs, ext3, ext4, jfs, lvm2 pv, nilfs2, reiserfs, and xfs) while these are online (mounted). It is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Dec/13). It updates the Linux kernel to 3.11.10-1 and includes GParted 0.17.0.

Release Notes: This release includes a number of improvements over the previous stable release including a fix for a freeze/lock problem at boot menu experienced by some computers, an incorrect for the Czech locale, an update of the Linux kernel to 3.11.7-1, and an update of the boot loader isolinux and syslinux to 6.02 with patches for local boot. This release is built with live-build 3 and is based on the Debian Sid repository as of 2013/Nov/13.

Release Notes: This release includes bugfixes and language translation updates. LVM partitions are not activated on boot to enable move/resize. A crash if apply was clicked before pending operations had completed was fixed. Progress of tools such as ntfsresize is no longer hidden. Release Notes: This release fixed a critical bug and potential crash that might have caused loss of data while moving or copying a partition. All users of GParted Live 0.15.0-x and 0.16.0-x are strongly recommended to upgrade to version 0.16.1-1 to avoid data loss. This version is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/May/1).

Release Notes: This is a bugfix release to address a few minor problems. The GParted Live ISO file is now an isohybrid. This means it can be written as an image to CD or written directly to a USB flash drive using a command such a dd. The fluxbox menu key function now works again. The Linux kernel has been updated to 3.2.41-1. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Mar/27).

Release Notes: This stable release includes enhancements to GParted that track live updates of command execution progress in the details section of the apply operations window. Move operations are now twice as fast as in prior versions. Proper cancel support has been added. Volume label length is now based on file system type. Unallocated space is selected by default. The Linux kernel was updated to 3.2.39-2. This version is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Mar/20).

Release Notes: The big news with this release is the added ability to boot the live image on uEFI firmware computers, while maintaining boot ability on traditional PC/BIOS computers. This means that GParted Live can now boot on newer Windows 8 computers. In addition to supporting uEFI firmware, two more GNU/Linux operating system images have been released: i686-PAE (Physical Address Extension) and AMD64 (X86-64). These new images permit addressing more than 4 gigabytes of RAM and enable using multiple processor cores.
