Import of Shimadzu, Createc, Omicron SCALA and flat, Nanoeducator, Nanoscantech, Nanoscope, and NetCDF has been improved. Crashes upon clicking color selection buttons have been fixed. Several bugs in Merge have been fixed.
Release Notes: New grain quantities have been added: mean radius and quantities related to the maximum inscribed disc and minimum exscribed circle. The neural network processing module has been rewritten, with separate network training and application functions. Handling of files with non-ASCII characters on MS Windows has been improved.
Release Notes: The MS Windows package now comes with pygwy included. On Unix, a standalone gwy module is now available so Gwyddion Python scripts can be run outside Gwyddion. Median line leveling supports masking. The changes also include a number of smaller file format support and user interface improvements.
Release Notes: Three new file modules have been added: NanoScanTech NSTDAT files, FEI Tecnai imaging and analysis SER files, and Digital Micrograph DM3 TEM images. Four new data processing modules have been added: simple simulation of PID loop effects during scanning, simulation of lateral force from the topography channel, neural network data processing, and XY data denoising based on horizontal and vertical scans. A Gnome3 thumbnailer is now installed for automated thumbnails of SPM files in Nautilus.
Release Notes: File import modules were added for old NT-MDT MDA and NanoObserver. Images in the "Image list" section are now loaded from Nanoscope files. Pixmap export permits changing the font of the labels. It is now possible to preserve RMS in 2D FFT. Compatibility with GLib 2.32 was corrected.
Release Notes: The 3D view can now use different data for surface and texture (overlay mode) and display a false color scale, keyboard shortcuts are configurable, and data previewed in the "file open" dialogue can be plane- or row-levelled. Release Notes: New file import modules were added for Benyuan CSM, WITec project, Raster Data (NRRD), Automation and Robotics Dual Lens Mapped data, old Gwyddion dumb dump format, OpenEXR, 16bit PNG, PGM and TIFF images and Ambios AMB (experimental). Release Notes: Instrument calibrations can be created, imported, and applied to data; measurements and statistical characteristics are then calculated with uncertainties. Support for compilation with MSVC6 was removed and cross-compilation with MinGW32 is recommended now. The MS Windows installer bundles Gtk+. Two new file modules were added: for WSF and DME MIF v1.7. New modules for grain levelling and marking by edge detection were added. There were improvements in other file modules, surface synthesis, DOS spectrum, and FFT filtering. Czech, French, and Russian translations were updated.
Release Notes: A new file import module for Anfatec files was added. Four new surface synthesis modules were added: Particles, Noise, Line noise, and Pattern. All surface synthesis modules can start from existing data now. The mask editor contains new tools for freehand drawing, erasing, and bucket (un)filling. Data arithmetic has a preview and can work with mask. New grain characteristics, related to curvature, are available. Radially averaged 2D ACF was added to statistical functions.
