Release Notes: A new secure communication layer, based on SSL/TLS, has been added to the framework. A graph view of the grid topology has been added to the administration console. Load-balancing of local vs. remote execution is now fully configurable in the client. Nodes now support a local fork/join execution model. Executor services now support jobs SLA and metadata, as well as task cancellation and timeout handlers.

Release Notes: This version features new batch modes for the executor service facade, allowing a substantial throughput increase. The documentation was reorganized for an easier navigation experience. A new node extension point was added, enabling the subscription to every node's life cycle events. A new sample was added to illustrate its use in a transactions management context. Performance and memory footprint were enhanced, providing faster network I/O and smaller memory consumption. Numerous bugs fixes and additional features are also part of this release.

Release Notes: A new ExecutorService facade was added to the grid. The administration console has seen multiple enhancements and bugfixes. Jobs can now be set to expire at a specified date and time. The J2EE connector can now discover servers on the network and connect to multiple servers. Numerous bugfixes have increased the overall scalability and reliability of the framework.

Release Notes: This release featured an emphasis on memory usage and performance improvements. The JPPF server now implements multi-threaded network I/O and reaches new levels of scalability. JPPF applications can now enjoy faster execution of larger jobs. A Russian localization was added. Custom load-balancers can now use sophisticated algorithms that adapt to the capabilities of each node and the computational characteristics of each job. Management port auto-incrementing makes JPPF configuration much easier. Three new samples were added.

Release Notes: This release brings a few bugfixes, especially for the J2EE connector, enhancing its stability and reliability. Enhancements to the administration console were performed, increasing its usability.

Release Notes: Numerous bugs have been fixed in this maintenance version, increasing the stability and reliability of the platform components. Improvements and fixes have been brought to the management, client, and server components, as well as to the J2EE and GigaSpaces connectors. A few new features were implemented, including the integration with the latest release of GigaSPaces XAP, the ability to run the server as a service, and the ability to open more than one server connection with auto discovery.
