libmikmod

libmikmod is a portable sound library, which used to be packaged with the MikMod module player, but is now released independently. It is capable of playing samples as well as module files, using the OSS driver for output, as well as ALSA and EsounD. Supported module formats include MOD, S3M, XM, IT, MED, MTM, and 669, to name a few.

    Release Notes: This release adds updates to the umx loader, a fix for a dynamic loading issue for ALSA and ESD drivers, a small update to the OSS driver to cover less common setups, a minor fix to PulseAudio driver, and build system updates (configury and cmake).

          Release Notes: This is a stable release with minor bugfixes and a new feature, a new umx file loader. It fixes a memory leak, an invalid read upon backwards position jumps, and documentation problems, and adds cleanups.

            Release Notes: This is a new stable release with major bugfixes since previous 3.2.0. ALSA driver updates, new SDL, OpenAL, and XAudio2 drivers, fixes for access violations introduced in 3.2.0, fixes for several loader crashes, and merging of many downstream patches.

            I am now maintaining mikmod/libmikmod. I have created a new webpage located at http://mikmod.raphnet.net.
            Latest libmikmod release is now 3.1.11

            You failed to say the name or URL of your fork. They have released a new version a year after your message, but they still don't seem to have a web site ... what's up with that ?

            Development of this lib seems dead, and since i cant contact the authors in any way (miodrag wont reply to my emails) I'm forking it into a new version with many bugfixes i did.
