Release Notes: Filtering connection nodes. The panel for search can be shown but also hidden. When entering text and pressing the search icon, filtering will proceed. After removing text from the search text field, the filtering will be removed. The nodes are no longer automatically refreshed after selection. Refresh will happen after double clicking on a node. Small management of running tasks, with the ability to cancel a running task.
Release Notes: Full MySQL database/table dump support with effective I/O and memory handling. Client-based compression of the dump file. Backs up data even through low-speed connections and on low-end hardware. Automatic dump character set and encoding handling.
Release Notes: This is by far the fastest performing MyJgui release. There are other minor application enhancements: The order of connections is changed in db tree/Manage connections. There are close buttons in the Manage connections and Edit attributes dialogs. By saving the layout, myjgui also saves the position and size of the whole application window. After creating a table via the wizard, dbtree scrolls to the new table and refreshes all bound tabs. The create table wizard allows you to remove selected rows instead of the last row. There are other bugfixes.
Release Notes: This release added handling of MySQL connection time variables through Manage Connections. You can now change the character encoding of data shown in Table data tab. A character encoding option was added to Save results from table/query.
Release Notes: A new wizard for easy creation of tables and a menu reorganization.
Release Notes: From now on, the connections are also shown as first level nodes in the tree. This means that you can have more connections opened at once to a different server and run queries on the currently selected one.
Release Notes: You can save and edit attributes of your most frequently used connections. Information is stored in the XML file "conn.xml" in the configs folder. When you click on the Connect/New/Edit button, the login frame will be raised. The passwords are stored encrypted using symmetric DES encryption in the file "configs/passwds.properties". The key for encryption and decryption is stored in file "configs/key". The "passwds.properties" file uses the combination of server, login, and alias to match a certain password.
Release Notes: The most usable feature is saving the SQL queries that you run frequently so you can access them via the menu. Further sqlmark management is possible through the "Manage sqlmarks" menu item. By clicking a certain sqlmark in the menu, the query gets loaded into "SQL Console" as selected text ready for firing up. You can also set automatic execution in the "Preferences". Sqlmarks are stored in an external XML file.
Release Notes: Column sort was added for "Content of table". Two options were added in the "Preferences" menu: "SQL sort" and "Automatic refresh of content of table". If SQL sort is on, the sort will be executed via SQL. If automatic refreshing of table content is true, the "Content of table" will be automatically refreshed after inserting, updating, or deleting from the current table. These two options are saved in the "client.properties" file. The application icon was changed.
Release Notes: Error messages are displayed upon failed login. Blob handling was added into the data grid, along with "Blob viewer". The limit boxes of the "Content of table" in the toolbar are editable. The "SQL Details" tab pane shows the query execution time. Popup menus are shown after right clicking the database tree, and these contain basic options such as "truncate table", "drop table/database", and "refresh". The cells in the data grids are editable, though the changes are not yet updated in the database. A lot of small user interface changes were made.
