Phoebetria lets you take control of your BitFenix Recon fan controller on more operating systems than the official software. It offers all of the same features as the official software, with the exception of remote access, and has been tested on Windows, Linux, and OS X.

Ubuntu users will be pleased to hear that we shall now be building .deb packages. Currently we're compiling for 64-bit but if there is demand we will look at creating 32-bit .deb files as well. A package for the latest release version of Phoebetria (1.3.0) has been released and is available in the files section of the project page. It has been tested on Ubuntu and Mint but may (probably) work on other Ubuntu-derived or Debian-based Linux versions.
Release Notes: This will be the last major release for the 1.x series. The most significant change is support for localization. A German translation has already been added. A help menu was added, though unfortunately it is only available in English at the moment. Many small improvements have also been included.
Release Notes: This is a minor release, however users of software auto are strongly encouraged to upgrade (two bug fixes are related to software auto). In addition to bugfixes, quick load menus for profiles were added: one on the main menu and another as a context menu when minimized to tray.
Release Notes: This is a major feature release and is a direct result of the solid framework built into the previous releases. It includes a new preference panel that allows you to set some basic environment settings, name fans and temperatures, set startup and shutdown profiles, and use custom themes. If you know how to write custom stylesheets for the Web, then creating your own custom themes will be familiar.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. Due to the nature of some of the bugs, it is highly recommended that all users upgrade to this version if they are using version 1.2.0. Stability and usability have been improved. The internal state of Phoebetria is now reset after the system goes through a sleep/wake cycle. Occasional 'freezing' of the UI has been addressed. Software auto has been improved. Phoebetria can once again work correctly with the OEM software still running.
Release Notes: This is the first non-beta release. Software auto was added. This feature takes the Recon's auto mode a step further by allowing you to setup your own fan curves. Profiles are now saved in a SQLite database rather than .ini files for greater flexibility. The first time you launch this version, your old profiles will be imported automatically.
