Release Notes: This is a major upgrade, converting the live CD base from Ubuntu 10.10 to 12.04 LTS to provide better hardware support for more devices. The drive reset utility now allows multiple drives to be reset simultaneously. Better progress reporting based on partition sizes was implemented. Conformance with Ubuntu Remix guidelines was improved. Window titlebars are now provided for easier navigation. Time now syncs to local machine time rather than forcing a timezone. A beep is given when long processes complete. Other enhancements were made.

An error is reported if restoration fails due to a nonexistent partition. Long lists of partitions are size-limited in the dropdown so they fit on the screen. Release Notes: A new Windows-based autoexec.exe was added to notify first-time and casual computer users that the computer must be rebooted with the Redo disc in order for the live CD to run. The UI was revised to use a cleaner color scheme, and the VERSION is now listed on the root of the CD for easier identification.
Release Notes: Many significant improvements were made, including optional network share searching, retry when storage mount fails, VESA and safe mode boot options to support more display hardware, text feedback during boot, a boot help screen accessible by pressing F1, an improved USB installation method that works with larger sticks, new command line tools such as rsync, a functioning gparted, new ReiserFS/reiser4 filesystem tools, and many other substantial enhancements.
