Wmconfig is a text-based menu generation tool for various X window managers for desktops. Toolkits like Qt or Gtk are not required. It uses a simple configuration layout and the configuration may be edited with a text editor.

Release Notes: This release fixes a possible memory leak error and enhances portability by changing some internal functions.

Release Notes: Freedesktop support has been updated and supports the "outputdir" option to specify where the menu configuration file will be created. This prevents problems with E17, Mate, Cinnamon, and similar desktop environments. The manpage has been updated with a description of this.

Release Notes: The Fvwm2 and Fvwm95 outputs have been merged, the functions which write files have been slightly modified, and the Russian translation has been updated.
