X-Cart

X-Cart is a PHP shopping cart software used by tens thousands on-line merchants worldwide. It provides a wide range of e-commerce features, flexible "tableless" design, easy text content modification using WYSIWYG tools, W3C XHTML 1.0 compliance, SEO friendly product catalog, Web-based administration, on-line payment gateways support, real-time shipping cost estimation based on product dimensions, inventory management, full multi-language support, and report management. X-Cart has no logical limitations on the number of products and categories in product catalog.

Release Notes: PayPal Website Payment Pro Hosted support was added. The Authorize.Net payment gateway is now available in the United Kingdom. The "Lite Interface" or ‘X-Payments via iframe’ has been significantly improved. The last four digits of CC numbers are displayed now in the X-Cart admin area if an order is processed via X-Payments. The X-Monitoring module is now built. There were multiple security improvements and bugfixes.

    Release Notes: This is a major update of X-Cart shopping cart software. All background/on-site/merchant hosted credit card payment methods have been removed due to PCI-DSS requirements. You can still use them via X-Payments software. Two new built-in skins. The USPS module has been completely revised and updated to meet the latest USPS API requirements. UTF-8 is now supported. TaxCloud module integration for better and more accurate tax calculation. The subscriptions module has been completely removed. Built-in Socialize module update: Pinterest is available.

    Hello,

    X-Cart 4.2 version does actually have CSS-based layout and is no longer table-based. There are other notable SEO features available there. Now it also support Google Analytics right out-of-the-box.

    Modifications
    X-cart is widely used and quite convenient, it's out of the question.

    But after its installation still modifications are needed. One of issues is the necessity to add X-AOM at once. Its functions are essential for any shopping cart.

    Wouldn't it be more comfortable to add this module to standard functionality?
