The Linux Replicated High Availability Manager (Linuxha.net) allows the creation of clusters for application high availability through data replication. Currently, clusters are limited to two nodes, but multiple applications can be hosted and failed-over between the nodes. The software uses DRBD to provide the data replication facillity.
Skulker is a rules-based tool for log and temporary file management. It offers a wide range of facilities to help manage disk space, including compression, deletion, rotation, archiving, and directory reorganization. It provides dry-run facilities to test new rules, as well as detailed space reclaimed reporting.
TP2 is a generic package manager for Unix. It offers several unique features, such as support for namespaces (which allow different people to own different areas of a file system to install packages into). It is in use on Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX, and will shortly be validated for AIX. It aims to be fast and easy to use (both to install and generate packages for).
TrueCL aims to provide advanced high availability clustering across larger clusters. It has currently been tested with up to 8 nodes. It is the successor to linuxha.net. It has been designed to be as portable as possible and currently has been tested on Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX. It has many advanced features, including multiple storage types, a dynamic architecture, volume manager neutrality, file system neutrality, heterogeneous cluster support, no hard limits, and encryption of communication between nodes.
Code Manager 2 (CM2) has been designed to provide a complete source code control system for a set of developers sharing the same working directory tree. It offers developers and organizations many advantages. It provides a comprehensive set of features and has been designed to be very easy to pick up and use to manage projects. It works across Unix and Windows platforms, requiring little configuration and only a limited number of dependencies. It provides facilities at both an individual source file level and project level. The project level facilities include facilities to copy or merge whole projects or generate and apply change-sets. It uses an efficient repository format to handle large files and large numbers of files and directories. It provides facilities to generate packages from the project in a number of formats (including TP2, Slackware, APT, RPM, Autopackage, SVR4, and InstallP).
OGRI (Original Generic Reporting Intranet) provides a simple Web-based interface with "portals" for viewing any number of reports in a secure manner. It is designed to be as lightweight as possible in terms of server load, and its simple interface means it works well with most browsers.
Fileevent is a rules-based utility that matches files based on simple patterns and macros and performs actions on them. These actions are typically used to transfer or rename the file ready for further processing. This utility is particularly useful for batch processing environments where files to load/process might arrive on an adhoc basis. Fileevent allows them to be transferred elsewhere, retrieved from elsewhere, or renamed.
