jHepWork (jWork) is an environment for scientific computation, data analysis, and data visualization for scientists, engineers, and students. The program is fully multi-platform (written in Java). Programs can be written in the Java, Jython/Python, and BeanShell scripting languages. Matlab/Octave is supported for symbolic calculations. The program can be used to display data and functions in D and 3D. It comes with a friendly IDE and a code assist.

It runs on any platform where Java is installed, and can also run on the Web browser. The following packages are included: symbolic calculations (simplification, differentials, integration), numeric calculations, evaluations of mathematical functions, special functions, linear algebra with vectors and matrices, plotting data and functions, saving data (vectors and matrices) in files, random numbers, statistics, and solving linear and non-linear equations
jPort is a Java-enabled application launcher that can be used to launch dozens of free Java applications for office, development, science, and entertainment. The user can update, remove, and install applications using the Portable Java Program (PJP) portal. jPort does not require installation since it runs on Java-enabled platforms. jPort is fully portable and can run from a USB flash drive. All preferences and user files are stored inside jPort.
jSlovo is a fast database engine with a GUI that was designed for free dictionaries. It can create a file-based database from a text file and then be used to search it for particular words. It can scan any large number of file-based databases and the size of the databases is not limited. HTML tags can be used in the text files and for cross-references.
RTextDoc is a text editor with proofreading. It is designed for typesetting professional research papers and manuals using the LaTeX, AsciiDoc, and DocBook markup languages. It includes on-the-fly spelling and grammar checking, syntax highlighting, bracket matching, folding, a document structure browser for sections and labels, bookmarks, a manager for LaTeX symbols, WYSIWYG equation editor, and integrated BibTex database manager.
SCaVis is an environment for scientific computation, data analysis, and data visualization designed for scientists, engineers, and students. The program can be used for function and data plotting in 2D and 3D, histograms, statistical analysis, and symbolic calculations using the Matlab/Octave high-level interpreted language.
