cdwrite is a console shell for reading, writing, and copying audio CDs as well as for creating and writing ISO images on CD media and data or ISO images on DVD media. It can also encode WAV files or audio CDs to FLAC, MP3, or Ogg files, optionally using CDDB data and setting audio tags. Users that prefer command line interfaces can use cdwr.*, cdencode, and settags scripts instead of cdwrite.

testmail is a Perl script that checks email availability at the POP3 server (including SSL), filters it according to the defined rules, and (depending on the selected method) gets the messages to the local mailbox and/or removes them from the server. It uses Perl Mail-POP3Client to establish POP3 connections, IO-Socket-SSL and Net-SSLeay modules for SSL connections, as well as MIME-tools module for decoding MIME encoded email fields.
wminfo is a Window Maker dockable application that displays text format information using the plugin. The standard plugin is a shell script. The plugin writes the information to stdout, and wminfo captures the output and displays it row by row. Using the appropriate plugins, wminfo can display different information obtained from the system or from the Internet.
wmphoto+ displays the images in the dockable application window. You can switch the images manually or display them as a slide show. Each image accepts up to two related commands. You can run them using mouse buttons when the application displays the image. Using the alternative configuration directories, you can run a few instances of the program that display the different sets of images.
wmpower+ is Window Maker laptop power management dockable application. It displays the battery status, the number of fans or the fan speed, and CPU temperature, and allows you to switch the power management status of some laptops. It is based on wmpower by Michele Noberasco, which doesn't work with the new kernels starting from 2.6.36.
